Dear Families, Friends, and Alumnus of Long Beach Poly High Instrumental Music,

The Long Beach Poly Instrumental Music Program prides itself in being a multi-award winning Grammy Signature Gold music program, recognized as one of the "Top 7" high school music programs in the country. Each year Poly student-musicians earn positions in the "All-District," "All-Southern," and "All-State" wind ensembles, orchestras, and jazz bands. This level of excellence is accomplished by the commitment and dedication of the many talented young musicians, instructors, parents, and friends that support the Poly Instrumental Music Program each year. At this time, we ask for your renewed commitment to help keep this music program the best it can be.

Faced with a growing music program and a shrinking budget, the Poly Music Booster Club has again decided to forgo traditional fund-raisers in favor of a direct appeal for donations, hence this letter to you. Money raised from this appeal will go directly to the support of students in the Instrumental Music Program, and will cover many Poly Music expenditures, including sectional coaching, staffing, instrumental purchases, instrumental repair, music literature additions, and other music-related materials.

Please consider making a generous donation to support the Poly Instrumental Music Program, a non-profit organization. In doing so, you will be honoring a commitment to excellence. And, don't forget to check with your employer or other organizations to see if they offer matching funds.
